Better too Big Than Too Little lol!

Stitch-Slapped Friday

Remember the blouse I made a few days ago, well for pictures sake I pulled it way up lol!It comes way too low to show you but all in all I was glad it was too big than to small, all pattern run different & if this one is going to run small than I'm all for making more once I figure out how to get the kinks out , as you can see it is way to big & if it wasn’t pulled up it’d be showing a whole other level lol! next week I’ll tinker with it, pull it up on the shoulders & see what happens

  1. I recognize your nice top! Since it ran way too low, did that make it way to low in the underarm (armhole) area too?

    1. Hi Faye, the arms are fine but the neck is way & I mean way down there I have it jerked up in the picture, a friend told me the pattern may run low ,well that's way too low for me lol!

  3. Okay...I was a bit slow on the uptake.... I thought you meant the length at the bottom...lol! Now I get it. It looks nice pulled up where you have it. I love the pattern and the ensemble you're wearing. I, too, will be interested to hear how you "make it work" for you next time. I'm glad to see you're making things for yourself...yay!!

    1. lol Vita I would send you a private pic but I'm scared you'd post it lol! just kidding! but the neck does come all the way down to my bra a line, I did take another pic & pull it up just where you'd not see it but chicken out posting it since this isn't that kind of challenge lol!

  4. Hi Helen. I think you look awesome. I was a little surprised to see this under stitch slapped because I remember seeing it on your blog and looking at it it seems like a good fit. I can't wait to see what you sew up next if this falls under stitch slapped:).
