Oh my - I love this pattern. It takes less than two hours to sew up after cutting out, is easy to wear and works with a lot of garments in my wardrobe.
Here is the pattern:
I have made up view B, both with and without buttons, and here are a few pictures:
I cannot recommend this pattern enough if you are looking for a quick, but classy, casual cardigan/jacket.
You can read my pattern review here, and there are more details on jackets 1 & 2 here, and 3, 4 & 5, here.

Thank-you! The pattern is so easy, it is almost embarrassing! I am a sucker for stylish cover ups, so I am sure that there will be more!! I would like to sew a couple of lightweight, spring/summer versions, perhaps out of a tissue-weight knit (I have a couple in stash) so watch this space :)
DeleteIsn't it great to get a pattern that you can use over and over and become a staple in your wardrobe. Very nice. Love your different colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The chartreuse was quite a surprise - I usually gravitate towards neutrals, and love a splash of red, but when I saw the green, it was love at first sight! And it was surprising to see how many skirts and trousers it went with. Tomorrow I'm wearing the magenta one with jeans - it really is so versatile!
DeleteI love that jacket and the colors are beautiful. I have this pattern too-now I'm inspired to pull it out and get busy!
ReplyDeleteIt really is very easy, and I found - very forgiving. Because of the draping, I did not make any adjustments at all. I look forward to seeing your versions!!
DeleteNow that's one pattern, many looks! Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that as I was taking the final photos - but I couldn't wait for the PatternReview contest!!! And, thank-you!
DeleteThis is a lovely cardigan, everyone is right - it really does look lovely on, and as you say, versatile and forgiving. I love all your colour variations :)
