I decided that I wanted to try and do a pencil skirt a week to help build my wardrobe. The base pattern I choose was McCalls 3830. It's a very simple skirt and I am looking forward to the many looks I can get from it.
Here is the first skirt I make about two weeks ago.
pencil skirts are one of those items that seem to flatter all shapes & sizes, but yet I'm scared to step outta that comfort zone & make one , give me my maxies & my gypsies !lol!your skirt looks great!

A lovely skirt and it will look nice on you Zeva. I can't wear them at all - I am too slight in the hips and thighs, so need A-Lines
